Devil's Hopyard

The White Mountain Guide describes Devil's Hopyard as "wild and beautiful...a small gorge with cliffy walls and a boulder-strewn floor."  This relatively short and "flat" (1.3 miles with 250 feet of elevation gain) trail is difficult to manage due to the slippery nature of all the wet rocks one must navigate near the upper part of the trail.  You can find this trail north of Mt. Cabot, off South Pond Road near Stark (Route 110).
